Recently was invited for the punjabi food festival with family for a perfect dinner at the luxurious hotel in faridabad. The decor was apt and some of the serving staff was dressed in punjabi attire to mark the occasion.
They also had outside seating for people who wanted to enjoy the live grill like kaleji, veg grills and the desserts like jalebi etc.
I was able to relish the traditional spicy food like mutton, saag and lot of vegetarian variety of dishes. They also had variety of salads, soups and starters to offer.
I avoided the chaat but enjoyed anda parantha and keema parantha from their live parantha counter, plus the tawa phulka that went well with Punjabi dal. Namkeen lassi is excellent and so is the makke ki roti with sarson ka saag served with safed makhan and gur. Dal shorba was a lovely start and ended with excellent lauki ki kheer and crisp jalebi with rabdi.
Overall, a great fine dine setting for a nice time with friends and family. The service is impeccable and the pricing is also not expensive on the pocket.
