Zambar, from the house of Lite Bite Foods Pvt. Ltd, is back with a fresh look and new menu of innovative coastal delicacies.
Recently, We got to taste the new menu at its location in Ambience mall in Gurgaon.
Inspired by the traditional lanes of culinary rich South India, the menu offers a repertoire of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes with a zingy twist. The ambiance at Zambar is experiential and promises to show the different facets of Southern India through vibrant delicacies and dynamic décor.
The menu of Zambar is exhaustive going far beyond the staple offering of sambar, dosa, vada and idli. There is a range of vegetarian fusion dishes like Charcoal Tandoor Srilankan Kotthu Roti, Andhra Tomato Pappu Dhal, the Chettinad Kozhambhu, Gobhi Kempu Bezule, Kaju Kothumir Wade or Zambar ‘net’ Dosa.
Those who want to foray into non-vegetarian food can relish specials such as Angamaly Fish Mango Curry, Chettinad Fish fingers and Vetrimurugun’s Mutton Sukka in starters. Above all, the hero of the menu is freshly made chutneys at the café that are served at every table. Aesthetically lively interiors and exquisite dishes with alluring presentation, everything over here celebrates the gastronomic delight of South India. We tried theKaffir lime rasam which was so nice that I had a couple of them.. The chicken ghee roast and Achamma’s lamb curry will be a special mention as it is a must try. Loved the different variety of Appam’s.
